Even when he first found out he was stepping into the role originally meant for Rhys Miguel in the Metro Manila Film Festival entry Love At First Stream, Jeremiah Lisbo said he already knew how important the acting opportunity was for him.

“Grabe nagiging emosyonal ako. Napaka-importante sa amin ito. Grabe dati hinahangad ko lang maging artista, mapanuod sa big screen. Ngayon nandito na ako, kasama sa MMFF, na ginagawa namin ng mga kapamilya ko bago i-celebrate ang Pasko. Alam kong sobrang cliché na sabihing blessing, grateful, pero totoo eh. Na-experience ko kasi din maging talent, rejections, auditions. Wala. Salamat sa tiwala lang. Salamat sa Star Magic, Rise Artists, salamat sa pagtiwala at paggabay niyo sa amin. And I hope marami kayong mapupulot na aral sa pelikulang ito,” he admitted.

“Matagal ko ng inaamin ito eh na gustong gusto ko makatrabaho si Kaori and nakapagtrabaho na kami before. So etong Love At First Stream sobrang suwerte ko na nakatrabaho ko siya kasi sobrang open niya eh, Pinapakita niya sa akin na vulnerable siya and nagbibigay siya sa mga eksena,” he revealed.

In Love At First Stream, Jeremiah plays the role of a heartthrob Gino Bautista. “Si Gino ay isang heartthrob, achiever, pilyo, torpe, at mapagmahal sa kanyang mga magulang,” he added.

“Sobrang memorable sa akin yung mga eksenang mino-motivate ni direk yung mga actor. Grabe nakaka-amaze kasi ako nanunuod ako kapag hindi ko take eh, talagang sinusulit ko si direk Cathy. Kasi ibang klase mag-direct si direk Cathy. And talagang hindi siya susuko eh kapag hindi niya na-achieve yung gusto niya ma-achieve and gusto niya makita. Sobrang amazing lang. Karamihan naman ng impression kay direk Cathy nakakatakot at terror, pero pag tumagal ng tumagal gumagaan eh. Ma-e-enjoy mo talaga yung trabaho,” he recalled.

“Walang pressure kasi kasama ko yung mga kapamilya ko eh. Kapamilya ko sa Rise Artists si Kaori, si Daniela (Stranner), si Anthony (Jennings), at sasamahan pa ni direk Cathy. Grabe yung tiwala namin sa isa’t isa. Yun na yun eh. Pag kasama mo pamilya mo may strength ka,” he said.
