Although she has continued to keep mum about separation rumors with husband Robbie Mananquil, Maxene Magalona continued to focus on her path to healing as detailed in a lengthy Instagram post last January 21.

She wrote, “‘Some people are mad at you because you are not suffering the way they expected you to.’ 🤷🏻‍♀️

“The path of healing and self-realization is a very complicated and messy yet beautiful journey. As we are all very different from one another, it is only natural that our journeys will not look or feel the same. The things I post online are only a tiny part of what’s truly happening in my life and I don’t plan to divulge every single detail of my story because truth be told—NO ONE CARES 😂 Stories are just stories and I don’t waste energy attaching to any of mine. Instead, I invest my energy in connecting to my soul.”

The 35-year-old actress, who spent the first year of the pandemic in Bali, Indonesia with her husband while studying yoga, also shared in the post why she does not indulge those who keep asking for the real status of her relationship with her husband of almost four years.

“Instead of focusing on the details of my personal and private stories, I would rather spend my time and energy on working on becoming a better human being/soul everyday so that I can serve God and others and contribute nothing but good energy to the Universe. I am not here to gossip or give the ‘juicy’ details about my journey. I am here to share the lessons that I learn along the way and show how God continues to heal me.”

Despite her happy outlook, the Viral Scandal actress revealed going through inner struggles as well.

“What I can tell you is that even though I may look strong and happy online, I still have days when I break down and cry. When I feel anxious, depressed, lost and lonely. It’s okay to be sad because it’s a valid emotion that we experience as humans so it’s totally normal. But—what is ‘normal’ today anyway??? 🤔😅

“So much is happening in the world right now and what we need to do is help each other heal and grow. We have to stop judging and start loving. Let’s all be the kind of love that we would like to receive and share it with others. Just be kind and be love. 😉”

Maxene married model Robbie Mananquil in a beach wedding in Boracay in 2018. The two are now certified yoga instructors after completing their yoga teacher training in 2020.
