KZ Tandingan on getting married during the pandemic: ‘It made me love my husband more’

After getting married in an intimate wedding ceremony in Batangas last September, singer KZ Tandingan said she has no regrets tying the knot with fellow singer TJ Monterde during the pandemic.“Ang dami daming negative na nangyayari still ngayon sa bansa natin, sa lahat ng nangyayari sa paligid natin. Even sa individual natin, sa mental health, sa health, spiritual din meron kang mga pinagdadaanan pero one thing that I’m thankful for sa pandemic is that it made me love my husband more. Na akala ko sobrang mahal ko na siya pero everyday he proves me wrong. Lalong lalo na ngayon na pandemic ang dami daming mga trabaho na dati we had a whole village doing it for us but now I have a husband who does everything for me like kanina kinompliment yung camera, yung lighting namin, ganyan, ganyan. But siya lang yun. Siya lang lahat yun even the audio. So I am very thankful na kahit na nakakapagod, he never complains and he’s always there supporting me. Pinagmamaneho niya ako sa mga trabaho ko kahit na kulang din siya ng tulog kasi may mga work din siya, may mga kailangan siya tapusin at deadlines na kailangan ma-meet. Sana hindi siya magbago (laughs). Parang ganun. Pero si TJ from ganito at gumanyan, umangat pa siya. Parang hinigitan pa niya yung sarili niya nung nanliligaw pa siya. Sobra siyang mas maalaga. Sobra siyang maintindihin.
