After welcoming his first child with girlfriend Meryll Soriano last December, Joem Bascon shared how the first few months of fatherhood have been so far. “Masaya. Kalmado. Sobrang saya. Hindi ko siya ma-pu-put in the words. Ini-enjoy ko every moment,” he admitted during the media con for the newest iWant TFC Original series My Sunset Girl earlier this month.

Having been part of the industry since he was a teenager, Joem shared his thoughts one year after the ABS-CBN shutdown.

“I’ve been working since I was 19 years old. I’m 34 ngayon. Siyempre may lungkot. Pero after one year or two years nakakapagbigay pa rin tayo sa kapwa Pilipino natin ng mga magagandang teleserye at show at yun si ABS-CBN. Hindi siya mawawala kahit anong mangyari sa atin,” he said.

The My Sunset Girl actor said he has had faith in his home network for the past 15 years and will continue to focus on being part of good quality projects.

Kaya nga laging in the service of the Filipino tayo.

Watch the new iWantTFC Original Series My Sunset Girl starting July 14 at 8 pm. Starring Charlie Dizon, Jameson Blake, Mylene Dizon, and Joem Bascon. Directed by Andoy Ranay.
