After being launched as a new member of the Squad Plus last April, Jimuel Pacquiao gets his first taste of acting in the iWant TFC digital anthology series Click Like Share which premieres worldwide on June 5. As part of the third episode “Trending” which also stars Gold Squad member Seth Fedelin, Jimuel revealed what was his biggest worry before they started taping the series.

“This is my first acting job so it was very new to me. I really wanted to prepare and do my best for this episode. And in everything naman I do, I always do my best. The scariest part was siguro the basic thing is not doing good. Sometimes it makes you overthink but I really had to push through, study, and practice. I was scared I wouldn’t do good sa episode so I really did my part in preparing by reading the script over and over and really trying to study my character,” he admitted.

For Jimuel, the biggest takeaway from the project was what he had to do off camera before they started acting. “Siguro yung preparation talaga kasi you have to really show the character so for me I think the preparation is really important. Most important is pag-prepare as an actor kasi this is my first time so everything was new to me, the setting up, getting ready, it was new to me. For me talaga, preparation talaga is the most important,” he explained.

It’s hard not to think of Jimuel’s father Manny Pacquaio when mentioning his name. But despite his very famous father, Jimuel denied that he received any VIP treatment from Click Like Share director Manny Palo and the ABS-CBN production. “No naman. I think everything is just normal. They’re friendly with people then siyempre first time namin mag-mi-meet, ganun. So I think same naman,” he said.
