It’s only been a a few weeks since his series Huwag Kang Mangamba ended its run but Seth Fedelin said he and love team partner Andrea Brillantes are already back to work as the stars of the first Filipino original iQiyi series Saying Goodbye. The 19-year-old actor said he had mixed emotions when he initially accepted the role.

“Nakaka-pressure. Kasi blessing ito eh. Pero itong blessing na ‘to na ipinagkaloob sa amin na may halong responsibilidad. Hindi lang ito basta. Alam mo yung una kong ginawa, yung una yung script reading namin. Nasa kotse ako, talagang binabasa ko kasi may mga one-liner na English dun. Yun yung prinoblema ko. Talagang nakaka-pressure siya. Kahit nasaang estado ka pa dito sa trabaho natin, dapat mararamdaman mo yun,” he said during the ABS-CBN Entertainment and iQiyi.com partnership launch media conference last November 23.

The series Saying Goodbye is about two people named Elise and Ricky whose paths fatefully cross at an old record store fighting over the same album of their beloved artist. Their first meeting turns into an enduring friendship, all the more strengthened by their love for life and adventure with the two ending up as best friends. Despite having a heart disease since childhood, Ricky decides to focus on his bucket list with the help of Elise. And despite being conflicted with her best friend’s attitude towards life, Elise agrees to go on an adventure with him to fulfill his list.

Hinahayaan niya na yung problema na mamoblema sa sarili nila. Tapos best friend ko ‘tong si Bansot (Andrea Brillantes). Talagang aso’t pusa sila dito. So kami, ganun din sa totoong buhay, asaran. Yung mga hilig din nila, music, pagkain nagkakasundo kami,” he shared.

”Dahil meron ako ditong sakit. Meron akong heart disease dito so challenge yun sa akin kumpara sa mga nakaraan kong nagawa. Yun yung challenge sa akin pero laban. Pinaka-excited ako na i-play si Ricky dahil sa thrill na magawa ko na maipakita ko sa kanila na may sakit ako. Yun yung gusto ko eh, yun yung pinaka-gigil ako na maipakita ko sa lahat ng manunuod, yung parang panibagong mukha na naman,” he said.
