When photos of them looking cozy together while on a trip to New York City were posted online earlier this month, rumors of a relationship between Edu Manzano and Cherry Pie Picache immediately started circulating online. What also sparked even more speculation was when netizens noticed that Edu and non-showbiz girlfriend Iryne Garcia were no longer following each other on Instagram. Edu and Cherry Pie are currently co-stars in the teleserye Marry Me, Marry You where they play the estranged parents of lead actor Paulo Avelino.

Just days after the rumor started, Edu directly confirmed his relationship status to News5 anchor Cheryl Cosim. Last September during Edu’s 66th birthday, Cherry Pie penned a meaningful message for her co-star. She wrote, “You are blessed and graced with an amazing life with all that it has to offer, and you’ve lived and continuously living it with so much gratefulness, charisma, generosity, kindness, positivity and laughter….to more wonderful years that are yet to come !!!”

Edu was previously married to Vilma Santos and Maricel Soriano. He also has two children with former commercial model Rina Samson. His last relationship was with non-showbiz girlfriend Iryne Garcia. Cherry Pie is separated from former partner Gary Tria who is the father of her son Nio who joined the Star Magic family and Squad Plus last May.
