Former Kapamilya actress Liza Soberano said she will be busy this 2024 as she shared her plans and goals after making her Hollywood film debut with Lisa Frankenstein this February.

In an interview with Gretchen Fullido on ABS-CBN News On Cue, the actress revealed that she will be doing some fashion-related and acting-related activities this year.

“This year, I think I will be doing a lot of traveling again, for fashion related stuff and also for acting stuff,” Liza shared.

The Lisa Frankenstein star also excitedly teased about her upcoming film which will start its production this year in the Philippines and could possibly be released in 2025.

“I have an upcoming project. I’m not allowed to give a lot of details about it yet though,” she added, “It is a US-based production, but it will be filmed here in the Philippines.”

“Sometimes this year, we’re going to start filming, and I think hopefully next year it will come out,” she said.

The actress also gave a sneak peek on the possible casting that her upcoming film will have.

“There will be Filipino actors, local actors, and there will also be Filipino actors that aren't based in the Philippines,” she shared.

Trying to keep everything under wraps for the meantime, the actress shared just a few details about her upcoming project.

"I think it's going to be like a drama thriller. I don't know how much I can talk about it yet," she stated.

The actress also revealed that she has already launched her own production company.

“Aside from that, I also started my own production studio,” the 26-year-old star said.

Liza added: “I currently have seven projects in development, some of which I will be acting in, and some of them I am completely just on the back end, producing them for other artists.”

Meanwhile, Liza also gave her message to fans who have been supporting her during the transition period of her acting career.

“I just wanna say thank you to all of my solo fans that have been really like joining me throughout this new transition period of mine or this journey of me building up a career outside the Philippines,” she expressed.

She continued, “To my Lizquen (Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil love team) fans, who despite me not being able to do love team projects anymore, have been there for me, supporting me since day 1, I’m truly grateful for your love and support.”

“I hope I could make you guys proud with this new movie that I’m coming out with, and I love you guys very much,” she said.

Liza starred alongside actors Cole Sprouse and Kathryn Newton in the "coming of rage" film, Lisa Frankenstein.

Liza previously shared that the movie felt like it was the perfect one for her as she wanted her first Hollywood film to not be too unfamiliar to her fans.

“I don't want to be too unfamiliar or shocking to my fanbase in the Philippines because it’s a huge transition to me, so I don’t want them to be completely like surprised by what I’m doing, so I said 'Even if it’s a horror or thriller and even if it is a little more mature than what they used to seeing me do, I want it to have a good romantic or comedy aspect that way it’s not too unfamiliar,'” the former Kapamilya actress said.

“And so, when I read the script for Lisa Frankenstein, it was everything that I hoped and dreamed for to be able to do, and it was all in one project,” she happily remarked.
