ABS-CBN executive and actress Charo Santos has added another feather to her cap, this time as a Philippine Air Force (PAF) Reservist.

"It’s never too late to start something new, to challenge yourself, and to keep on growing," she posted on social media upon achieving this new milestone in her life.

Charo graduated from the PAF Reservist training on Saturday, October 19.

"[It was] a journey that was as rewarding as it was challenging. There were moments when I doubted myself, wondering if I could meet the demands, but I embraced every challenge, pushed forward, and found joy in each step of the process," she stated.

The Kapamilya actress remarked that through the experience, she has "discovered a deeper sense of purpose and a renewed love for our country."

Charo hopes that this milestone she attained would inspire others to pursue their goals.

"Spending these past few weeks alongside my fellow reservists has been an honor, and I hope my story encourages you to pursue your passions, face your fears, and keep moving forward. No matter where you are in life, know that growth is always possible," she remarked.

She added: "Special thanks to 1st ARCEN and Col. Florante Baterina for your leadership and guidance throughout this journey. Maraming salamat sa inyong suporta at tiwala. 🙏✨💪"

Friends and fans of Charo were quick to extend their congratulatory message to her.

"So inspiring!!! Congratulations, Ma’am Charo!!!❤️❤️❤️," Iza Calzado commented.

"Wowwww!!!! Congratulations Ma'am@Charo 👏👏👏 saludo po ako sa inyo❣️," Ruby Ruiz wrote.

"Ma'am I'm so proud of you👏👏👏👏patunay lang na age is just a number. Congratulations po❤️🙌," another fan said.

Charo is currently starring in the primetime series FPJ's Batang Quiapo.

In an interview back in 2023, Charo remarked that working in the show had been a unique experience for her as an actress.

"Napakaibang experience nito para sa akin kasi may mga eksena kami ni Coco na hindi naman namin ni-rehearse tapos biglang may itatanong siya sa akin. Itatanong na lang niya bigla. Biglang huhugot ka talaga sa pagkakaintindi mo sa character mo at saka 'yung hinihingi eksena," she said. "You have to be quick on your toes."

She went on: "Maraming salamat Coco kasi napakasarap na kapag lumalabas ako hindi Ma'am Charo ang tawag sa akin kung hindi Lola Tindeng. So happy naman ako Tanggol, aking apo na nakinig ka sa mga pangaral ko at babaguhin mo na ang takbo ng iyong buhay."
