Model-vlogger Trina Candaza celebrated the 3rd birthday of her daughter Enola Mithi over the weekend.

On Instagram, Trina shared photos taken by Nice Print Photography from her daughter’s birthday celebration held last Saturday, September 9.

“Enola Mithi’s 3rd Birthday. Thank you to everyone who attended Mithi’s special day,” she captioned the post.

Family and friends were present at the event, including Ogie Diaz and JC Santos with his wife Shyleena Herrera and daughter River. Noticeably absent from the party, however, was Trina’s ex-partner and father of her daughter, Carlo Aquino.

Last year, Carlo and Trina reunited to celebrate their daughter’s 2nd birthday together. The pair — who split up in December 2021 after more than two years as a couple — were also seen together during the moving up ceremony of Mithi last May.

In an interview with veteran showbiz reporter Ogie Diaz, Trina denied Carlo’s earlier claims about their co-parenting set-up, saying it isn’t true that she prevents him from seeing their daughter. She also stressed that it’s the two of them who provide for Mithi, not just the actor.

“I also pay half of our expenses. Para sa akin, dalawa kaming nagpo-provide,” she said.

Currently, Carlo is dating acclaimed actress Charlie Dizon. During the interview, Trina was asked whether she is happy for her current partner.

“Wala naman na ako [sa posisyon para magsalita] kung masaya siya or hindi. Good for him kung masaya siya. Ang sa akin lang is 'yung kay Mithi lang,” she said.

While insisting that Carlo is welcome to visit their daughter anytime, Trina said she only has one wish for the actor.

“Respect na lang muna sa akin na huwag muna ipakilala si Mithi sa mga panibagong partner. Kasi ayaw ko rin i-instill sa utak ng anak ko, sa values niya, na okay lang magpapalit-palit ng partner,” she told Ogie.

“Kaya para sa akin, if ever man dumating 'yung panahon na may papakasalan na siya, siguro 'yun kailangan na namin magkita-kita. Hahayaan ko na sila mag-bonding kasi 'yun na 'yung tatayong pangalawang ina ni Mithi,” she added.
