Ara Mina turned to social media to celebrate her husband Dave Almarinez on his birthday on Wednesday, August 30.

On Instagram, the actress shared photos from her husband’s intimate birthday dinner with their family, including Ara and his teenage daughter, Kirsten, from a previous relationship.

“Busy ako kanina sa ka-date ko. I want you to meet my boyfriend este asawa ko na pala (pinakasalan na nga pala ako),” Ara wrote in the caption.

She then shared her birthday wish for Dave.

“Thank you for filling my life with endless love, laughter, and support. Today, I celebrate not just your birthday but also the incredible person you are. May this year be filled with all the happiness and blessings you deserve. I love you more than words can express. Happy birthday, my husband @davealmarinez.”

Last year, Ara threw a surprise birthday party for her husband as he turned another year older. The couple has been married for more than two years. They tied the knot in a star-studded ceremony in Baguio on June 30, 2021, several months after they got engaged.

Ara has opened up about her wish to start a family with Dave in an interview with PUSH.

"We’ll try to have a baby this year," she said. “Basta kung ano… si Lord na ang bahala diyan, kita mo in God’s perfect time ibibigay naman Niya yon. Kasi sabi ko nga wala akong hiniling na hindi ibinibigay ni Lord, maghihintay ka lang."

“So hinihiling ko kasi magkaroon kami ng isang anak. Ako gusto ko kong magka-baby boy, gusto rin naman niyang magka-baby boy din,” she added.

Ara has an eight-year-old daughter, Amanda Gabrielle, from her past relationship with Bulakan, Bulacan Vice Mayor Patrick Meneses.

Ara, 44, starred in ABS-CBN's action-drama series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano as Ellen Padua.
