Seo In-guk holds first fan meeting in the Philippines

South Korean actor and singer Seo In-guk held his first fan meeting in the Philippines titled "1st Asian Fan Meeting Tour in Manila" on Saturday, August 12 at the New Frontier Theater. 

In-guk serenaded his Filipino fans with various songs including "Calling You," "My Love," "I Like You," "Tease Me," "Shake It Up," and "All for You," among others. He also performed Yeng Constantino's "Ikaw" during the fan meeting.

Aside from the musical performances, Pinoy fans also got to know more about In-guk during the question and answer session at the event.

When asked by the host about how he feels that he finally got to meet his fans in the Philippines, he replied, "Even at the backstage I was really excited hearing all your passionate screams but now that I am on stage it is really giving me big energy. Thank you."

In-guk also talked about his current projects. He shared that he is currently working on a series.



"I am currently filming a drama series called Death's Game which is based on a very famous webtoon in Korea which will be released by this coming December in TVING (a streaming platform in Korea)," he said.

Aside from his acting projects, In-guk shared that fans can expect new music from him soon. 

He shared: "For my new album, I am trying to prepare as soon as possible so that I can come back as quickly [as possible]."

In-guk also talked about his desire to be a director in the future.



He shared that he hopes to produce a short film someday, saying: "For the directing, I am trying to do it step by step without really an exact time duration and I am trying to film a short film." 

"But right now I am trying to focus on the drama I am filming in Korea and I really wanna come back with a new album and that's what I am focusing more on," he added. 

On the character that he would like to portray in the future, In-guk shared that he wants to do more villain roles.

"The more I continue my acting career, my passion gets bigger and bigger because last year I wanted to be a villain and ever since I tried it in the Project Wolf Hunting, I wanna try various types of villain," he said.
