It seems Carlo Aquino is no longer being shy about his relationship with his rumored girlfriend Charlie Dizon.

On Wednesday (March 1), the actor delighted his fans when he shared on social media new and sweet photos of himself and Charlie. The snaps were taken during the pair’s vacation in Japan last month, and show the two having a sweet moment while on a bridge someplace in Tokyo.

“Love and laugh abundantly,” he captioned the photos, before tagging Charlie.

Last month, Carlo also surprised his fans when he seemingly made his blossoming romance with Charlie Instagram official. The actor, 37, confirmed his dating status with Charlie in an exclusive interview with ABS-CBN News in January, saying at the time that they were still in the getting-to-know each other stage.

The two been romantically linked since late last year, after the Fangirl actress shared photos of the pair being surprisingly affectionate on social media. Opening up about their romance, Carlo said he and Charlie started going out after getting to know each other during the Star Magic U.S. tour last year.

“Actually… ‘di ba nagkasama kami sa ‘A Soldier’s Heart’? Nagkakilala kami doon. Tapos nag-US tour, mas nakilala ko siya. Tapos pag-uwi, ‘yun na,” he said.

During the interview, Carlo also revealed spending the New Year holiday with Charlie and his family in La Union.

“Kasi ‘yung brother ko 'di nakauwi from Sydney at saka 'yung wife niya ng two years dahil nga sa pandemic. So pag-uwi nila, 'yung mga relatives nung sister-in-law ko pumunta," he explained.

Meanwhile, Charlie has notably kept silent about her rumored relationship with Carlo. The two are set to co-star in Black Sheep’s upcoming film Love on a Budget.
