Counting her twins Pepe and Pilar as two of her biggest blessings ever, Korina Sanchez shared the most recent happy occasion in their household before Valentine’s Day this year. The Rated K host and news anchor posted photos from her children’s fourth birthday party last February 12.

In an earlier post, Korina wrote, “Happiest 4th Birthday to our greatest achievement to date: Pepe and Pilar🥰🥰 Simple celebration today. Bigger one [with] classmates soon! 🎂🍿💋💚”

In a succeeding post, Korina shared the amusing conversation she had with her children during their birthday.

“Pepe kept saying, ‘Oh I love my cake, Mama.’ His choice for his cake is a figure of Moses [with] the 10 Commandments and his tungkod.

Si Pilar naman, ‘Wonder Woman, She Hulk, and… Darna.’

“‘You dont like the Princesses? Sino nagturo yan sayo ghurl, Pappi mo ano!?’ Pilar says, ‘Yes. Because I’m strong and brave, fearless and kind.’

“Sige na nga shut up nalang si Mama.

It was a lovely day for the birthday twins. Thanks for all your birthday greetings🎂💚💋.”

Korina and her husband, politican Mar Roxas, welcomed their twins in 2019 when they had Pepe and Pilar through gestational surrogacy done in the United States. The ABS-CBN TV journalist also shared how happy she was to celebrate Valentine’s Day and everyday with her brood this year after starting the day with their red pajamas still on.

Last year, the veteran journalist shared her thoughts with ABS-CBN News on her twins growing popularity through social media.

"I have to be ready so that when they grow up, whatever images I put out, they are not going to take it against me. Halimbawa, 'Mama, bakit mo naman ako pinakita na walang salawal?' Siyempre, wala akong mga ganun. I’m very careful kasi baka kung anong sabihin nila sa akin pagtanda nila, di ba?" she said.

In the same interview, Korina also talked about the difference in her kids’ personalities.

"Pepe is a thinker. He's a charmer. Pepe is the sweetheart who is the thinker at maaabutan mo yan, three years pa lang yan, na mag-isa nag-iisip. Sabi ko, 'Ano kaya ang iniisip ng three-year old na ito?'" she relayed.

“Pilar is a star, the performer. Kahit saan sila magpunta, hindi naman ako ang nilalapitan ng tao eh, sila ang nilalapitan. Marunong na silang kumaway. Tsaka kapag mayroong malaking gathering sa bahay, alam ko na kung saan ko sila ipoposisyon—sa entrance. They are very open to posing for pictures with people. Lumalaki sila na nasasanay sila. Sociable sila.”
