Veteran broadcaster Korina Sanchez expressed gratitude for her twins Pepe and Pilar as she marked her birthday on Wednesday, October 5.

On Instagram, the Rated K host shared a clip of her simple birthday celebration with her kids, who surprised her with a birthday cake and bouquets of flowers.

“There were many, many years I’d take off alone to a new country or beach resort on my birthday just for peace and to get away. Can’t imagine doing that now,” Korina wrote in the caption.

“Two of the biggest blessings ever. Thank you, Lord!”

Korina and her husband, former Senator Mar Roxas, welcomed Pepe and Pilar in February 2019. The twins were born via gestational surrogacy in the United States.

Previously, Korina said it took decades for her and Mar to have kids because they were always so busy with their respective careers. They, however, finally got to embark on their "best life adventures" in 2016.
