Elijah Canlas and Miles Ocampo have parted ways.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Elijah confirmed that the breakup happened "a couple of months ago."

"We went through a rough patch recently mainly because we are going through our own stuff," he explained.

Despite not being together anymore, Elijah said that they are on good terms.

"We are okay, we are not mad at each other... I'm always gonna have love for her and support her with what she does but right now we are taking our time figuring things out," he said.

Elijah and Miles went public about their relationship in May 2022. In an interview with Ogie Diaz last year, the actor shared that they started dating in 2021.

On why they chose to keep their relationship private initially, he explained: "Very private persons talaga kaming dalawa. E ako, parang hindi rin naman ako ma-post sa social media talaga. So, hindi ko alam yung galawan, e siya yung mas may alam. 'Yon lang, nagki-keep lang po ng privacy."

In May 2023, Elijah took to social media to pen a message for Miles on her birthday.

"Witnessing your growth has been such an inspiration. I’m grateful i get to share this journey with you, Camille (Miles's birth name). you’re a blessing to this world — and I’m blessed to call you mine. Happy birthday, my love!" the actor wrote.

Elijah is currently starring in the television series Senior High. Other television projects of the actor include The Iron Heart, Suntok sa Buwan, and My Fantastic Pag-ibig.

He also released his debut single recently titled 'Kilala Kita" which was first featured in Senior High.

The actor catapulted to fame after starring in the boys love web series Gameboys in 2020.

He recently headlined the film Keys to the Heart on Netflix. He is set to be part of the movie GomBurZa in this year's Metro Manila Film Festival.
