Way before she was approached to collaborate and co-write the  song “Pinas Lang Malakas” last year, KZ Tandingan revealed she was already a gamer at heart even before online games exploded in popularity in the country.

“As funny as it may come across, my love for online gaming started with the humble Tetris online more than 15 years ago! Haha online gaming has somehow become my escape when I just want to stay at home and relax. So as expected, I was ecstatic when I found out that I was gonna be working on this project with Moonton Games!” she shared with PUSH in an exclusive interview.

The song, which was released online last December 28, was envisioned to be the theme song for the two Philippine team representatives ECHO and the defending champions Blacklist International that will be competing in the world's biggest multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) Tournament, called M4 World Championship, happening this January.

KZ shared her experience working with the “Moon” singer for the first time. “Writing songs has always been a challenging but fulfilling thing for me. As some of you may know, It has always been my advocacy to champion Filipino talent wherever I am in the world, so to be asked to write a song that is representative of that and who we are as Filipinos, it was a dream project for me. We had fun in the studio. It was chill, and Nik was so game with some changes we made on the spot. He knows his stuff well and is easy to work with,” she recalled.
