Actress and mother Dimples Romana became sentimental after sharing the letter her daughter, Callie Ahmee, wrote a decade ago. On her Instagram, the actress found herself reminiscing about the days when Callie wasn’t a college student.

Dimples also gave some words of wisdom as a mother of three.

“Dear Mommy, I wish you could stay with me always and I am sorry [for] the bad things I do to you, and will hurt you,” part of the letter wrote.

“When you truly love someone, you let them go and grow their own wings. You watch them thrive and be the best versions of themselves and you cheer them on and love them more even from afar,” Dimples shared.

The actress added that parents should trust their children to come back since that’s how love gets stronger. For Dimples, letting Callie find her own path in adulthood is something she would also do for her two other children.

“Everyday you can only hope that they find their way back to you and rest assured that when they do, the love will not have only remained, it would’ve endured, got stronger and even deeper through time and distance,” she continued.

Dimples revealed that she has been keeping all the letters her daughter has given her over the years. She shared that she treasures the letters written by Callie as her daughter isn’t much of a talker and expresses her feelings more through writing.

Currently, Callie is enrolled at Southern Cross University in Gold Coast, Australia wherein she is taking up Aviation Management. Dimples flew to Australia last July to surprise her daughter and watch her first flying session.
