Vilma Santos couldn’t be more excited to become a grandmother as she gifted her soon-to-be grandchild with an advanced special gift.

In the middle of a fun vlog where the Star for All Seasons did a category challenge with her son Luis Manzano and daughter-in-law Jessy Mendiola, Vilma asked a question.

“Before anything else, pwede pakikuha?” Vilma told one of her staff.

“When are you going to have your baby shower? Ano target niyo?” she asked. “Baka mid-October po,” Jessy answered.

“Ano ba ang ginagawa sa baby shower?” Vilma asked again. “Ang sabi po ng OB ko, kaya daw po nagtu-throw ng baby shower kapag third trimester na kasi kumbaga ‘yun na ang kabuwanan mo,” Jessy explained.

Upon seeing the gift, Jessy reacted in astonishment and said: “Nako, hindi pa lumalabas si Peanut, spoiled na.”

While Luis was taking the gift out of the box, Vilma said she chose a UV sterilizer because it’s the latest when it comes to the said technology.

“Ito na ngayon ang pinakalatest. Kasi talagang pinacheck ko ito if it’s safe. Sabi nila, this is the best now especially in the klase of the environment that we have. So, this is going to be very good for the baby,” Vilma said.

“Wow. Super kailangan nating ‘yan, Howhow. Thank you po, Momsky,” Jessy exclaimed.

“This is the latest, anak. It’s UV. ‘Yung pang-steam steam, for the baby, it’s UV na,” Vilma said.

Meanwhile, Vilma gave a message for both Jessy and Luis as they embark on a new journey as first-time parents.

“Ako kasi, as Momsy V, I’m so excited and continuously praying for Peanut to be okay. And siyempre, para naman sa inyo, to my son, I’m happy too, because he’s happy. For you Daddy, for you Mommy, it’s going to be the next chapter in your lives. I am not saying it’s going to be very, very smooth,” Vilma said.

Vilma noted that at the end of the day, what’s important is that they should always make decisions as one.

“Pero, still, the most important thing is, lagi kayong mag-iisip nang pareho, as one. Kasi, wala na kayong choice eh. Mag-partner kayo. Marami kayong pagdadaanang challenges. May mga time na mag-aaway kayo, sa totoo lang. May time pag-aawayan niyo rin si Peanut, sa totoo lang,” she said.

“But ang pinakaimportante, as long as the love and respect is there. Uulitin ko, the most important unit in our society, is family. Lahat ng inspirasyon, strength, encouragement, lahat ‘yan manggagaling ‘yan sa pamilya,” she added.
