It's the start of a new chapter for Jaya and her family as they moved into a new home weeks after their house in the United States caught fire.

Sharing photos of their new home on Instagram, Jaya expressed her immense gratitude to those who helped her family recover from their ordeal and have a fresh start.

"Aug. 19 is our Day 1 into our new home," she wrote. "Thank you to all of you who helped us through different ways. Your love, prayers, encouragement and those who gave from the heart, we will always lift you up in prayers.

"We will do a video soon. Thank you Lord for new beginnings."

The 52-year-old actress said she and her family were celebrating the birthday of her daughter Sabrina when their house unexpectedly burned due to some electrical issues.

"God is so good! Our house just burned to the ground but we are all safe! I have no words but GOD IS GOOD!!!" she wrote in her previous post.

Just last week, Jaya took to social media to share the good news that their home application has been approved and that her husband, Gary Goditoc, has been offered a new job.

"Grabe naman po kayo Lord!!! 8 days after our house burned down, my husband Gary received these blessings on his email on Aug. 15! A new home and a new job!!!" she wrote.

"Again, I don’t know what else to say but thank you Lord! And again, may I say thank you to Jesus, you are at the center of it all."

Jaya, dubbed the "Queen of Soul" of local showbiz, returned to the US last year with her family to start a new life.
