Xian Lim has finally shared the first glimpse of Always, his much-anticipated reunion film with his reel-to-real partner Kim Chiu.

On Instagram on Wednesday, July 13, the actor posted a short clip of him boxing, with The Script's "Hall of Fame" playing in the background.

"[This] video I posted is a quick snippet from our upcoming movie, Always," he wrote.

He then shared inspiring words to his fans on surviving hard times and finding one's purpose in life.

"Life is not going to get any easier. We just have to keep pounding our way through. Keep moving forward. Baby steps. Fall seven times, get up eight. Keep on doing what we love. Continue to find our purpose with the remaining time we have left in this world. Always be a blessing to others. Do good. Be the best version of yourself," he said.

Xian, who just recently turned 33, also shared what his birthday wish is this year.

"My birthday wish I'd like to share? Less hate no matter what your religious or political differences may be," he said. "Easier said than done but let's do our best to not let this divide us. I wish and hope we can work as one unit, one family to work on what matters most and that is protecting each other. Dahil wala nang gagawa noon kundi tayo lang.

"Protektahan natin ang isa't isa. Mahalin ang isa't isa. Lend out a helping hand sa mga nangangailangan. Napakaliit ng kinikilusan natin na bansa, hindi rin sapat ang panahon na binigay para sa atin dito sa mundo. Let's make the most out of it. Be a blessing to others."

It was in late June when Xian and Kim first announced that they are reuniting on the big screen.

The two are set to star in Always, a movie produced by Viva Films and directed by Dado Lumibao.

Kim and Xian last shared the big screen in 2015, via the romance-comedy film All You Need Is Pag-Ibig.

The two last worked together on TV for the hit ABS-CBN drama Love Thy Woman.
