Sharon Cuneta wrote a heartfelt message for her eldest daughter KC Concepcion, who is celebrating her 37th birthday this Thursday, April 7.

In an Instagram post, the veteran actress assured KC that she will always be there for her as her mother, "constantly praying for you and wishing things were different."

"Feliz cumpleaños, mi hijo mayor y mi hija, mi primera princesa, pequeña reina y mi bebé para siempre, la princesa KC. So much has been said, so much yet to say. So much has happened, so much has changed. Still, know that there is a huge chunk of my heart that is missing, empty without you. I will always be your mother, no matter what choices in life you have made and will make. I will be here, constantly praying for you, wishing things were different, that you didn’t have to grow up too fast - that the pain of your family breaking up didn’t have to happen nor burden you," she said.

"Again, none of it was your fault. Your Papa and I have always and will always love you though he and I are apart. And your Daddy and siblings - and your Mama - shall always be your real home. I love you, Kristina. God bless you and guide you through your life, my beautiful big girl. One day, we will all be together and it will all be wonderful again. Have a beautiful birthday!"

KC is the daughter of Sharon with her former onscreen partner and husband Gabby Concepcion. The couple tied the knot in 1984 but eventually separated. Their marriage was annulled in 1993, and both have since re-married.

Gabby is currently with Genevieve Gonzales, his third wife, while Sharon is married to Sen. Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan. They have three children together — singer Frankie, Miel, and Miguel.

Meanwhile, in a separate post, the Megastar also shared her birthday wish for her "La Princesa."

"I wish you happiness, peace, the tying up of loose ends, and I wish you all that your heart desires. Please take care of yourself and remember that Mama loves you - no matter what - and that you have a family in us always just waiting for you to come home," she said.

KC has been based in Los Angeles, California since June of last year. The actress and jewelry designer decided to extend her stay in the US to attend school and take up a course in gemology.
