Hit teleserye The Broken Marriage Vow collected six national wins at the 2022 Asian Academy Creative Awards. The primetime series will be the representative of the Philippines in the Grand Awards set in December.
Jodi Sta. Maria was hailed as the Best Actress in a Leading Role, while Zaijian Jaranilla bagged the Best Actor in a Supporting Role.
Meanwhile, the show will represent the country for the Best Adaptation of an Existing Format category. The hit drama will also vie for the Best Editing and Best Promo/Trailer categories.
OPM singer Morissette Amon’s song for the teleserye was also named the Best Theme Song.
With the six national wins, The Broken Marriage Vow is set to represent the country on December 7 and 8 at the Grand Awards show in Singapore wherein the regional winners will be declared.
Upon the announcement of the national winners, Jodi shared how thankful she was for the chance to represent the country. On her Twitter account, she shared how speechless and amazed she was.
“You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that I can ask or think. I believe I haven’t scratched the surface of the vision, purpose and plan You have for me. I have only tasted a small portion and seen a tiny glimpse of the life You want to give me. I am speechless and amazed,” she tweeted.
Jodi is currently in the US alongside Coco Martin and the cast of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano for their Pasasalamat Tour wherein the actress was invited to be a guest.
