As one of the lead stars of The Broken Marriage Vow, Zaijian Jaranilla admitted that there is a lot of pressure taking on a major role. Zaijian plays the role of a high school student named Gio Ilustre whose life falls apart once he finds out about his father’s affair with a yoga instructor.

“Siyempre meron. Hindi nawawala yung pressure dun. Kasi pag nawala yung kaba parang hindi ka na na-cha-challenge eh. Parang hindi ka na naghahanap ng bago. So para sa akin pag may ginagawa akong bago, pinag-iigihan ko at nandun pa rin yung pressure. Pero pag nakita mo na maganda yung resulta ng gawa mong trabaho, mas magiging smooth na yung work,” he said.

Pero pag nakita mo na maganda yung resulta ng gawa mong trabaho, mas magiging smooth na yung work,” he said.

“Pinanuod ko din yung Korean version and feeling ko dito sa Philippine adaptation and mas napakita ko kung saan nanggagaling yung bata, yung side niya, kesa dun sa Korean version na sobrang tahimik lang nung bata. Pero dito mas nakikita talaga ng tao kung saan nanggagling si Gio. Pinanuod ko siya hindi dahil required kami panuorin, pinanuod ko siya para alam ko yung takbo ng storya. Kung saan nagsisimula and saan magtatapos, ganun. Pero wala naman akong ginaya, lalo na dun sa role ng kid. Parang wala akong ginaya kahit ano. Para maging authentic rin at may originality yung role ko,” he explained.

Zaijian said he is confident with the series after all the work they put in shooting entirely in Baguio City starting last year.

At sa tulong din ng buong cast namin napaganda namin. Sobrang ganda,” he added.
