After the successful release of her debut album Daylight last year, Belle Mariano said it’s a dream come true gearing up for her first ever concert happening on January 29.

“I’m doing great. I’m really excited but at the same time parang ngayon pa lang nag-si-sink in sa akin na oh my gosh may concert nga pala ako (laughs). Honestly, ten years ago hindi ko nakikita na mangyayari ito. I was dreaming of this. That little girl was just dreaming of this and now finally I’m achieving and fulfilling her dreams. Grabe, iba talaga yung pakiramdam and I’m just so grateful na nabibigyan ako ng ganitong opportunities. I’m always so grateful. Despite all the anxieties since I’m performing nga, parang more of grateful yung nararamdaman ko na kasi nagagawa ko na yung pinapangarap ko,” she said during the Daylight concert media conference last January 20.

After selling out the concert’s VIP and SVIP tickets within the first hour of its release online, Belle said viewers will definitely enjoy her show which features guest performers like Kyle Echarri, Jayda Avanzado, and her love team partner Donny Pangilinan to name a few.

“Hindi mawawala ang Ben & Ben. I’ve always been a fan of their work and their passion. Every time they perform I’m just in awe. Sobra talaga akong nag-fa-fan girl. Then imagine oh my gosh kasama ko na sila. Ever since fan girl ako sa kanila. Sa lahat ng kumuha ng SVIP and VIP tickets maraming, maraming salamat. With this concert, I want it to be light. I want it to be intimate. I want everyone to connect even if it’s virtually lang gusto ko maramdaman ng mga manunuod yung theme, yung ambiance ng place. Despite all the struggles that’s happening in our lives, we still have to seek for the daylight. Really that’s the theme of the concert,” she shared.

As the concert date draws near, the 19-year-old actress and singer admits she is taking her preparations very seriously.

“Sabi ko nung time na ‘to okay hindi muna ako iinom ng malamig, talagang iiwas muna ako sa sweets, lahat. And siyempre kahit rehearsal I want to give my very best para alam ko rin kung paano ko siya gagalingan. I had rehearsals with the band, I had meetings with direk Alco (Guerrero) so we can talk about ideas and also with the writer. Ang ganda kasi na nag-ma-match kami ng ideas na we both wanted it to be intimate para mas maging connected lahat. Nag-match talaga yung mga ideas namin kung anong gusto naming gawin sa concert. Ang ganda kasi ramdam ko talaga yung connection. Unang rinig pa lang ng boses ko, alam na nila kung paano aatakihin yung music. So ang ganda ng match and nag-connect kami dun and ramdam namin talaga yung emotion ng lahat while we’re all singing and playing,” she explained.

During the Daylight concert media event, Belle also shared the inspiration behind her concert theme.

“One of my inspirations really of course my idols. But going more into my core, maybe that little girl ten years ago na pinapangarap magkaroon ng concert. And also my family and God. I can describe the concert in maybe in three words, there will be colors, it will be vibrant, and it will be extraordinary. Kasi sobrang galing talaga nung nag-sa-style sa akin. Ang nag-sa-style sa akin si Adrianne Concepcion and I just love na kahit anong song na gagawin ko, mina-match niya sa theme ng song yung outfits ko,” she added.
