Miel Pangilinan, the youngest daughter of showbiz veteran Sharon Cuneta, is celebrating her 17th birthday this Thursday, September 2.
On Instagram, Sharon shared her heartwarming message for her daughter, whom she considers her "mini me."
"HAPPY 17th BIRTHDAY, Mariel Daniella Sophia! (Mariel from my character in my movie 'Madrasta.') YELLIE!!! My Yeyie, Yeye, Sunshine, Piyowww, Bunny!" Sharon began.
"You have brought so much joy into our lives, our youngest baby girl. I am so very proud of you, and of having the privilege of being your Mommy. Thank you for being mine, Bunbun. I love you with all my heart, and am still as crazy about you as I was when you came out of my tummy!" she said.
In her post, Sharon said she could not believe that Miel is now 17 years old.
"One more year and you turn into a legal adult?! I don’t understand how you’re 17 now—geez, time flew!" she said.
She ended her caption by sharing her promise for her youngest daughter.
"You are beautiful inside and out, my hunnybunny. Remember that no matter what—even if the whole world turns its back on you (not likely to happen though!), I NEVER will! WE will always have your back and love you! Whatever choices you make in life, we will always support. My 'dikit-to-Mama' baby has grown up and I couldn’t be prouder or happier about the way you have! I LOOOOOOVE YOU SOOOOOO MUCH, Bunny! May God continue to bless and guide you through all the years of your life. You’re awesome!" she said.
Miel is Sharon's youngest daughter with her husband, Senator Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan. They also have another daughter, music newcomer and youth advocate Frankie, and an adopted son, Miguel.
Aside from her children with Kiko, the Megastar also has a daughter—actress and jewelry designer KC Concepcion—from her past marriage with former leading man Gabby Concepcion.
