Kuya Kim Atienza captured the attention of many netizens when he was caught laughing during his weather report on TV Patrol on Thursday, August 5.

Star Patroller Gretchen Fullido shared the reason behind Kuya Kim's on-air laughing fit.

"Guys dinare ko si Kuya Kim na magwe-weather sa TV Patrol na magsabi ng word na tinapay sa weather report niya. Wala 'yun sa weather report pero magagawa kaya ni Kuya Kim sa TV Patrol?" Gretchen said in the behind-the-scenes video she uploaded on her Instagram page.

Kuya Kim accepted the challenge, saying, "Panoorin mo 'to at hindi masisira ang essence ng balita... Maganda pa rin ang dating."

During his weather report, Kuya Kim successfully mentioned the word “tinapay.”

"Dito naman sa Metro Manila may tsansa pa rin ng panandaliang ulan sa umaga at hapon. Sa mga lalabas para magpabakuna, magbaon po tayo ng payong at magdala po tayo ng pagkain gaya ng tinapay para hindi po tayo magutom sa paghihintay natin," Kuya Kim said in his weather report.

After he successfully mentioned the word tinapay, Kuya Kim began laughing while reporting.

The said laughing moment of Kuya Kim in TV Patrol became a trending topic on Twitter.

"Ewan ko natawa ako eh," Kuya Kim said in Gretchen's Instagram video.

"Nairaos naman ni Kuya Kim 'yung tinapay subalit 'yung kanyang trivia naman ay major major laugh trip. Sana nag-enjoy kayo guys. At sana kahit naka-lockdown tayo, ulit-ulitin niyo na lang itong panoorin," Gretchen said.
