“To be honest I only decided to get into acting two years ago in 2019. And I feel like I’ve reached a point in my life where I’m really willing to get out of my comfort zone and explore. And this is something that’s really been at the back of my mind for a while but I never really thought I had what it took and I also wasn’t confident enough yet and I’m still working on that now. So far, I’ve been really happy to be here and so grateful and I’ve been learning so much and I’m really in love with the craft now so I’m thinking maybe this was really meant for me,” she said during the Star Magic Black Pen Day media con.

“Actually she’s been super helpful through my journey starting in show business and nagpapasalamat din talaga ako sa kanya kasi you know the advice that my parents give are different from my sister because with my parents, matagal na nila itong ginagawa eh so second nature na sa kanila ito.

“So with my sister, she has fresher eyes when it comes to being in the showbiz industry kaya I like listening to her advice as well kasi mas recent yung mga experiences niya and siya lagi yung tini-text ko nugn first cycle ng lock-in taping ng Viral. I say, ‘Ate, paano ka nakakagawa ng ganito? Paano ka nakaka-memorize ng mahabang monologue? (laughs)’ Yung mga ganun na tanong, sa sister ko na tinatanong and she’s been supportive and helpful and she’s been cheering me on and texting me a lot during lock-in taping trying to see how I am. Reminding me na uminom ng madaming tubig at matulog ng maaga, yung mga ganun. So sobrang na-a-appreciate ko siya during the time na nagsisimula ako.”

“I love to sleep and I really value my resting time. But I don’t really remember anymore what the first thing I bought with my first salary. But I’m pretty sure it’s like treating family to food or something but I can’t really remember anymore. And what I’m working towards, yung goal ko is to be able to buy my own place. That’s always been a dream of mine to live completely independent. So that’s pretty much my goal now,” she said.
