Enchong Dee and Joshua Garcia reopen Academy of Rock Philippines

Academy of Rock Philippines relaunches this year with celebrity investors Enchong Dee and Joshua Garcia.

Originally an award-winning music academy based in Singapore since 2007, Academy of Rock opened its first Philippine franchise in 2009 until it was closed in 2016. This year, AOR relaunched with a new group of investors which include Kapamilya celebrities Enchong Dee and Joshua Garcia, as well as ABS-CBN’s Star Music Jonathan Manalo and Star Pop Label Head Rox Santos.

Last July 18, Academy of Rock Philippines invited friends from media and showbiz to grace the relaunch at the academy’s new home along Scout Borromeo street in Quezon City. Other attendees include ABS-CBN CEO Carlo Katigbak, Entertainment Production director Lauren Dyogi, ABS-CBN COO Cory Vidanes, and Director Ruel Bayani. Cornerstone Head Erickson Raymundo also attended along with Erik Santos and former Academy of Rock ambassador Yeng Constantino. Other celebrities  who also dropped by to show support for the relaunch were Enchong’s Huwag Kang Mangamba co-star Kyle Echarri, Joshua’s Viral co-star Markus Paterson, and Darren Espanto.

During the official program, Enchong and Jonathan Manalo gave a short speech on their vision for Academy of Rock. “We’re really excited to open the school again and be instrumental in the training of the next generation of music creatives, especially in the Philippines… yun yung dream namin sa Academy of Rock and excited kami sa future talents na manggagaling dito.”

Academy of Rock Philippines offers guitar, bass, voice, drum, piano, and ukulele lessons as well as music production. Enrollees can opt for a physical or an online class. AOR Philippines offers one-on-one sessions. With this personalized learning approach, AOR ensures to bring out the best in each student.
