Lea Salonga took to social media to pen a message for her daughter Nicole Chien who just turned 15 years old.

"And just like that, you’re 15! To my favorite human on the planet, Happy Birthday!" the Broadway star wrote on her Instagram page.

Nicole was born on May 16, 2006. She is the child of Lea and Robert Chien.

Some celebrities also extended their birthday wishes for Nicole on the singer's Instagram page.

"Oh em dalaga na!!! Happy Birthday Nicole!" Rachelle Ann Go commented.

"Happy birthday dear!!!" Arlene Muhlach posted.

In an interview with CNN Philippines in 2019, Lea shared that her daughter is interested in performing just like her. The singer also relayed that Nicole has a penchant for visual arts and writing.

"She enjoys performing, but she also has other artistic pursuits. There's something very creative in there, so I don't want to lock her into just one art form. I want all of it to be open to her as she gets older," she said.

In 2020, Nicole made the cover art of Lea's single "Dream Again."
