After flying to the US last October, actress Lovi Poe said she is happy to still be abroad to work on her music career and also to spend time with her British boyfriend Montgomery “Monty” Blencowe who is a film producer and medical researcher based in Los Angeles. The 32-year-old actress said she is also open to other opportunities, since she is near Hollywood, during the Imono Jewerly SS21 campaign launch last April 29.

“Right now I’ve been recording music. So that’s what I’ve been doing here aside from the fact that I’m visiting my boyfriend and taking a break also from Manila. It’s more of like pursuing my first love which is music and hopefully you guys get to listen to it and whatever comes my way I’d be happy to pursue it,” she shared.

During the online launch, Lovi also talked about her love for wearing jewelry, even when just working out at home. “I’m a huge fan of rose gold so I think that’s something that suits different skin colors. For me who’s morena it’s makes my color pop. So I feel like that’s the best since Imono supports loving your own skin and just to boost your confidence even more. I think the rose gold collection is my favorite. I’ve always been a fan of earrings. When I always have my hair up in my usual bun, the hoop earrings never gets old,” she explained.

Having helped create the new collection, Lovi shared her inspiration for the new pieces. “I have a certain taste when it comes to jewelry. But I was also thinking of what others would like to wear. So I think I took that into consideration as well and that’s what’s nice about Imono. They have a lot of simple pieces when you put them together and it becomes even more elegant,” she added.

Even after dating and maintaining a long-distance relationship since 2019 with her non-showbiz boyfriend, Lovi said marriage is still not on her mind, even after spending more time with him during the pandemic.

“It’s hard to find a genuine beautiful soul. But I’ve never thought of a proposal. It never crossed my mind. It’s just more personal,” she said.

Lovi saidys she is not the type to dream about what her wedding ring should look like. “The things is, I’m not even thinking about it. I’m wearing rings from Imono that look like wedding rings. I don’t know. I really didn’t think about this. Honestly I don’t have a picture in my head of a wedding ring,” she added.

When it was reported that her contract with GMA network expired last year, rumors started that Lovi would be one of the actresses moving to the Kapamilya network this year. But she said she has no definite news yet of where her home network will be. “I think it’s only fair to keep things private at this stage and all negotiations are confidential at this very moment,” she said.
