Lovi Poe on why she loves acting: “It’s a life changing experience”With more of her movie and television projects being made available for streaming online, Lovi Poe couldn’t help but share her thoughts on her craft in her Instagram post last September 10, Thursday.

The Malaya star revealed just how much effort she puts into each and every role she plays onscreen. She wrote, “The thing about acting...the time, effort and heart actors put into their roles. We read and internalize what’s on the script. But it’s really giving a piece of your existence into a character. It’s a life changing experience. So it’s really amazing when our body of work is able to reach new and bigger audiences with the hope of touching lives and making a difference, no matter how small or significant.”

The 31-year-old actress, who is the daughter of the undisputed “King of Philippine Movies” Fernando Poe Jr. (also known as FPJ or Da King), admitted she was flattered to receive feedback from one of her mentors.

She added, “As my acting coach once told me about my character in Someone to Watch Over Me, he loved Joanna. For him it was work, but other times it was love: how he wanted to be there for her, for everything terrible she had to face for that day. I will never forget how he told me: ‘That was not acting. That was living. Thank you for living.’”

Someone to cry with, to stop and breathe with. ♥️ - Available in Amazon Prime Video: The One That Got Away, Mulawin vs. Ravena, and COMING SOON — Someone To Watch Over Me. Plus other GMA programs, mga Kapuso abroad. Enjoy 🙏🏼♥️
