After finally getting married after six years of dating, Matteo Guidicelli and Sarah Geronimo wee happy to celebrate their first wedding anniversary last February 20. The couple tied the knot through a secret church ceremony at Victory Church in Bonifacio Global City. They had a small reception later at the Shangri-La at the Fort hotel in Taguig city.

On his Instagram account, Matteo thanked his wife for their first year of marital bliss. He wrote, “Love, HAPPY 1st year anniversary!! Look at our family! Thank you for bringing joy in our home, you are the reason why I smile when we wake up. You continue to inspire me everyday and I just love celebrating life with you. So proud of you my love! I love you forever. #proudhusband #blessed @justsarahgph”

Last year, Matteo was vocal about sharing that their marriage has been the best thing to happen to him. He said, “ I recommend marriage to everybody as long as you found the right person in your life. As long as you found that person that you feel you can grow old and spend the rest of your life with. That’s very, very important. I’m not saying everything is perfect but I think that’s life. You go through the thick and thin holes in life.”
