Sharon Cuneta had nothing but good words to say about Julia Montes, her co-star in ABS-CBN's long-running action-drama series FPJ's Ang Probinsyano

In an Instagram post on Monday, December 13, the veteran-actress singer was all praises for Julia as she shared photos of them in Ilocos, where they are currently filming Ang Probinsyano.

"Mara and Aurora," she said, referring to their characters in the series. "Sa lahat ng nakasama kong mas mga batang artista sa more than 60 movies ko, si Julia Montes ang nakita kong pinakapareho ko sa tunay na buhay. Bungisngis, malambing, mabait. At magaling na artista. Love this girl!"

Sharon was introduced as a cast member of FPJ's Ang Probinsyano in November. At the time, the showbiz veteran expressed her excitement to share the screen with Julia, as they didn't get the chance to do so when they did the movie Caregiver back in 2008.

Julia, likewise, could not hide her excitement when she and her rumored boyfriend Coco Martin welcomed the Megastar to the cast of FPJ's Ang Probinsyano.

"Sobrang espesyal po ng araw na ito para sa akin. Finally makakasama na po namin ang nag-iisa at minamahal nating lahat the Megastar, Ms. Sharon Cuneta! Pasensya na po kayo sa smile ko na-star struck po talaga ako!" Julia wrote on her verified Facebook page.

In Ang Probinsyano, Sharon plays Aurora, the estranged daughter of Don Ignacio Guillermo who is played by veteran actor Tommy Abuel.

She is expected to soon face off with Julia, as it was the latter's character, Mara, and her family who ambushed Don Guillermo and put him in critical condition, forcing Aurora to come back to the Philippines after years of not seeing her father.

FPJ's Ang Probinsyano airs new episodes weeknights on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, TV5, CineMo, Kapamilya Online Live on ABS-CBN Entertainment’s YouTube channel and Facebook page, iWantTFC, WeTV, and iflix.
