Amidst reports of a yet to be officially confirmed breakup between her and her boyfriend of four years Rayver Cruz, Janine Gutierrez shared how happy things are with her first teleserye project since transferring to ABS-CBN earlier this year.

“Sobrang saya ng experience. As soon as I got the script, unang basa pa lang naiyak na ako sa kuwento eh and to get to work with an amazing cast under Dreamscape na napakaganda ng kuwento and then I’m working pa with Paulo  (Avelino) and Jake (Ejercito), sobrang saya ng experience. And it was really the best experience. Also getting to share everything pagdating sa mga mediacon hanggang ngayon na sinuportahan kami ng mga kapamilya. Sobrang saya talaga,” she shared.

Now that their series Marry Me, Marry You has started its second season, Janine is looking forward to more exciting twists in their storyline.

“It’s super, super exciting at kahit alam ko yung mga mangyayari, excited pa rin ako nung nakita ko yung mga bago for season 2. And I’m happy to share lahat ng dapat abangan pagdating sa mga relationships sa pag-ibig at sa pamilya. I’m glad na nakaka-touch kami ng iba’t ibang buhay thorugh Marry Me Marry You kaya sobrang thank you talaga sa lahat ng nanunuod. Kaya talagang enjoy na enjoy ko talaga itong Marry Me Marry You,” she added.

Even though she is new to the network, Janine said she was warmly accepted by her new network family.

During their lock-in tapings, Janine said she loves being on the set even when it is not her scenes.

Mapa A2Z or Kapamilya Channel or TFC, ramdam na ramdam namin yung pagtanggap kaya sobrang grateful talaga. Ang galing kasi talaga nung cast at saka yung pagkasulat nung kuwento talagang nakakakilig so happy talaga,” she shared.

When asked how she would react if faced with the same situation as her onscreen role Camille who is the object of affection between two men, Janine said she would follow her heart. “Kung sino siguro yung mahal ko, ganun lang kasimple,” she said.

Janine also admitted she is the type of person who will give someone a second or third chance in the relationship. “Yes ako yung type na sasagutin ko para in the end no regrets and masabi ko na ginawa ko lahat. And sa ganun madali din para if ever you have to move on (laughs), na parang you already did everything, nabigay mo lahat and nagmahal ka ng todo para no regrets,” she added.

When asked how she imagines her dream wedding to be, the 32-year-old actress said she wants it to be relaxed more than anything else.
