Kyle Velino on returning to ABS-CBN: ‘Masaya ako dahil nandito ulit ako’

<p>After almost two years since he last did a project with the Kapamilya network with the series <a href='https://ent.abs-cbn.com/thekillerbride' target='_blank'><em><u><strong>The Killer Bride</strong></u></em></a>, actor Kyle Velino said he is happy to be back in ABS-CBN with the drama <a href='https://ent.abs-cbn.com/hkm2021' target='_blank'><em><u><strong>Huwag Kang Mangamba</strong></u></em></a> this year. </p><p>“Challenging kasi yung pressure talaga na balik ako ng ABS-CBN. Kasi yung last ko na project before the pandemic was with TV5. So ang saya lang ulit kasi ngayon na dito ako sa Dreamscape sa kung saan ako nagsimula sa <a href='https://ent.abs-cbn.com/thegoodson' target='_blank'><em><u><strong>The Good Son</strong></u></em></a> under direk Manny (Palo) rin.</p><p>“So nandun pa rin talaga yung kaba siyempre. Lahat naman ng papasukan nating proyekto siyempre talagang nandun yung bago mong makakatrabahong artista at mga staff, so challenging siya talaga. And I’m thankful and honored talaga dahil binigyan ako ng pagkakataon na makasali sa Huwag Kang Mangamba and late na pumasok yung character namin. Siyempre nandun yung kaba pa rin kasi balik ABS-CBN. Yung sa TV5 kasi kontrabida role so iba itong series na Huwag Kang Mangamba so ang laking adjustment din siyempre. Pinag-aralan ko din yung character na binigay sa akin. Sila Ms. Sylvia (Sanchez), sila Ms. Mylene (Dizon), sila kuya Dom (Ochoa) talagang winelcome kami ng buong buo. And super fun ng experience ko talaga. Kung tatanungin niyo ako sana mas maaga akong nakarating eh (laughs), mas maaga pumasok yung character ko kasi iba talaga yung bond namin and masaya talaga so thankful ako sa Dreamscape dahil sinama ako sa Huwag Kang Mangamba. Madami kasi talagang sila Ms. Sylvia laging nag-a-advise sa amin. Yun yung nakakatuwa kasi talagang willing sila to help us para alam namin yung gagawin namin. Lalo na kami nagsisimula pa lang kami. And talagang sila, wala pa kami sa mundong ito, nandito na sila sa industriya. So ang laking bagay nun. Talagang mga beterano na lahat.</p><p>“Feeling ko isa sa pinakatumatak talaga sa akin yung pakikisama talaga at saka yung focus mo sa trabaho. Kailangan pag nagtrabaho ka nandun ka, hindi yung parang wala ka sa focus kasi, lalo na nagsisimula ka pa lang, kailangan magawa mo ng maaga para yun na yung makakasanayan mo. Yun na yung magiging habit mo all throughout sa trabaho mo and sobrang thankful ko sa kanilang lahat. Lalo na yung focus mo sa trabaho, kung paano ka magtrabaho. Sila Blythe (Brillantes) sila talaga yung face ng HKM so ang laking opportunity na nakatrabaho ko sila kasi first time ko rin sila makatrabahong apat so ang ganda nung opportunity. Madami akong nadala na natutunan sa kanila kahit sa short time na nakatrabaho kami. Maganda yung working habits nila eh. So may mga natutunan ako sa kanila na puwede ko dalhin sa other projects. Magagaling at mababait silang lahat kaya nagkasundo kaming lahat,” he said.</p><p>The <a href='https://ent.abs-cbn.com/hkm2021' target='_blank'><em><u><strong>Huwag Kang Mangamba</strong></u></em></a> actor also said he was lucky to be chosen for a project this year. “Thankful din ako lalo na ngayong pandemic hindi naman lahat nabibigyan ng trabaho so ako talaga, lagi kong sinasabi sa sarili ko na pag nabigyan ka ng trabaho talagang do your best. Na kahit ano pa yan, laging back to zero lagi. Siyempre ang laking opportunity nito mula sa Dreamscape. So lagi kong ginagawa best ko. Masaya ako dahil nandito ulit ako,” he added.</p>

Kasi yung last ko na project before the pandemic was with TV5. So ang saya lang ulit kasi ngayon na dito ako sa Dreamscape sa kung saan ako nagsimula sa <a href='https://ent.abs-cbn.com/thegoodson' target='_blank'><em><u><strong>The Good Son</strong></u></em></a> under direk Manny (Palo) rin.<p>“So nandun pa rin talaga yung kaba siyempre. Lahat naman ng papasukan nating proyekto siyempre talagang nandun yung bago mong makakatrabahong artista at mga staff, so challenging siya talaga. And I’m thankful and honored talaga dahil binigyan ako ng pagkakataon na makasali sa Huwag Kang Mangamba and late na pumasok yung character namin. Siyempre nandun yung kaba pa rin kasi balik ABS-CBN. Yung sa TV5 kasi kontrabida role so iba itong series na Huwag Kang Mangamba so ang laking adjustment din siyempre. Pinag-aralan ko din yung character na binigay sa akin.
