It’s been five years since Jesi Corcuera first joined Pinoy Big Brother during the PBB Lucky Season 7 where he was dubbed as the “Transman of the House ng Cavite.” Jesi first appeared on television as a lesbian contestant of local talent search program StarStruck in 2006 where he was in a love team with batchmate Paulo Avelino.

He wrote, “Hindi maitagong ngiti. Mga ngiti na walang katumbas na halaga. Maaring hindi niyo maintindihan ang sayang aking nararamdaman. Pero sa likod ng mga hiwa sa ilalim ng aking dibdib yan ang simbolo ng aking kalayaan. Kalayaan sa mapanghusgang lipunan. Para sa mga tulad kong parte ng makulay na bahaghari wag kayong titigil makamit ang inyong kalayaan at kasiyahan.
He wrote, “Hindi maitagong ngiti. Mga ngiti na walang katumbas na halaga. Maaring hindi niyo maintindihan ang sayang aking nararamdaman. Pero sa likod ng mga hiwa sa ilalim ng aking dibdib yan ang simbolo ng aking kalayaan. Kalayaan sa mapanghusgang lipunan. Para sa mga tulad kong parte ng makulay na bahaghari wag kayong titigil makamit ang inyong kalayaan at kasiyahan.

For pride month this year, Jesi also posted about his scars and thanked his surgeon whose clients also include vlogger Toni Fowler and Tiktok artist Zendee Rose Tenerefe. He wrote, “Pride month na! And sarap sana rumampa ng malaya sa pride march. At dahil dyan flex ko lang din scar ko. Dahil sa mga scar na ito, mas na boost confidence ko at walang takot na harapin ang mapanghusgang mundo. Ikaw anong kwento ng scar mo? Shoutout na din sa best surgeon Dok @docyappy #happypridemonth ”

Before his recent surgery, Jesi made sure to thank his partner for being there for him. He wrote, “WHAT WOULD I DO WITHOUT YOU IN MY LIFE. Thank you for everything for taking good care of me kahit na di ko na mahugasan pwet ko dahil sa surgery ko. I love you whatever happens may tampuhan man minsan. Sorry sa mga pagkukulang ko. I’m so grateful to have you, Mahal.”
