Last seen in the series He’s Into Her earlier this year, Jeremiah Lisbo shows more of his acting chops in the first episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya this month as he stars in the life story of ex-Pinoy Big Brother housemate Ralph Malibunas. The Star Magic artist said he had the opportunity to talk to Ralph before shooting the drama.

The Star Magic artist said he had the opportunity to talk to Ralph before shooting the drama.
“Nakapag-usap na kami virtually and sobrang thankful ako kay Ralph. Sobrang open niya. At sobrang kinuwento niya sa akin yung buong buhay niya kaya mas naunawaan ko lalo si Ralph,” he said.

Jeremiah plays the role of Ralph who is the son of Lotlot de Leon’s character in the episode. After failing to make it into Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) after two rounds of auditions, he joins his mother to work in France until he finally gets the chance to make his dream come true.

This October episode is part of MMK’s 30th year anniversary celebration as the country’s longest running drama anthology. “Sobrang suwerte ko. Blessing siya para sa akin dahil meron akong pagkakataon na mag-inspire ng mga tao at meron akong maturo sa kanila na mga life lessons at realizations lalo na sa mga family problems. Nung bata ako hindi ko na-imagine eh. Nung bata ako ang hinahangad ko maging parte ako ng Goin’ Bulilit (laughs). Kasi gusto ko magpasaya ng tao,” Jeremiah revealed.

“To be honest kasi hindi pa naman ako masyado maraming experience na aktor. So merong pressure and tinitingnan ko yun as a challenge. Lalo na yung mga dramatic na eksena. Pero medyo hindi ako nahirapan dahil si Ms. Lotlot sobrang bukas at talagang binibigyan niya ako ng energy na dapat na kailangan ko sa eksenang yun. Malaki ang tulong ni direk Chad talaga. It was a group effort din and hindi ako masyado nahirapan dun sa bond kasi sobrang open ni Ms. Lotlot being my mom sa characters namin,” he explained.

“Ngayon yung relasyon namin ng brother ko, ng kuya ko. Siya ay isang frontliner. Sila yung namomoblema ngayon kasi hindi lahat sila ay nakakakuha ng sahod ng agad agad. So dahil sa pagod na rin sa ospital, yung pagod na rin at exhaustion bilang kinakapos pa sila hindi pa sila binibigyan ng sahod, parang yung relasyon namin bilang pamilya ay naaapektuhan na rin. So nagkakaroon kami ng MMK moment. Minsan nag-da-drama yung kuya ko and siyempre naaapektuhan ako kasi mahal ko yung kuya ko din,” he shared.
