After spending Christmas together in London last month, Pia Wurtzbach and Jeremy Jauncey flew out last December 27 to usher in the New Year on the island of the Maldives, situated in the Arabian Sea of the Indian Ocean in South Asia. Pia’s boyfriend Jeremy shared a photo of themselves in a sweet embrace while catching their first sunset of the year together.

On his Instagram account, Jeremy wrote, “@piawurtzbach and I sat on this pier watching the first sunset of 2021, making plans for our life and all the things we want to achieve this year We spend a lot of time together goal planning, sharing our dreams and supporting each other to think bigger or push harder and last year more than at any time before—encouraging each other through challenges in work & life. I’m so proud of Pia for all she’s come through this year and couldn’t think of a better way to start 2021 than making big plans together watching sunset @joalimaldives”

“Since our very first date we’ve always talked about everything—getting lost in conversation, laughing & joking with each other and although most of the plans we made for 2020 didn’t happen, I can look back on the year happy & hopeful for what’s to come in 2021. There have been a load of personal & professional challenges for me, Pia, our businesses, our friends and our family but we got through them, wiser & stronger,” he wrote.
