Actress Dimples Romana has released a new song just in time for her birthday.

Titled "Hawak Ko Ang Kamay Mo," the song is dedicated to frontliners and Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs)—the "brave men and women fighting every day to protect and provide for their families."

The original composition, which was performed by Dimples herself, was uploaded on YouTube on Friday, November 13, or on the day of her 36th birthday.

"Today 36 years ago, my mama gave birth to me. Today I am 36. But today isn’t about me. Bata pa lang kami bago pa namatay si Papa, he taught us the importance of thinking of ourselves less and more of other people—pamilya man o hindi. Dahil ang sabi niya, ang pagmamahal ng Diyos ay hindi namimili. Na ang bawat isa sa atin, kadugo man natin o hindi ay kakitaan dapat natin ng mukha ng Diyos sa tuwing minamasdan natin sila. He used to say that if we learn the value of kindness, we will never run out of love within us and around us. We will never feel alone. Our cup of blessings will never run dry," she said in an Instagram post.
