Dimples Romana is showcasing her versatility once again. The actress-host-writer-cook has written a song during a lock-in taping session.

On her Instagram, Dimples relayed how she came up with the lyrics to “Hawak Ko Ang Kamay Mo” after an hour-long prayer

With her birthday just days away, she was contemplating on what to pray for on her special day.

“❤️ dahil nalalapit na ang birthday ko nag usap kami ni Lord. Pinakiramdaman ko kung ano ang gusto kong birthday gift mula sa kanya. Pero nagdaan ang 30 minuto ng pagdadasal, Pero Wala akong magawang Hingin. Lahat ng kailangan ko nandito na. Kaya ako na ang nagtanong kay Lord, lord, Ikaw Anong gusto mula sa akin? How can I be of service to you?” she wrote.

After a full hour of prayer during lock in taping, I wrote a song ❤️ dahil nalalapit na ang birthday ko nag usap kami ni Lord. Pinakiramdaman ko kung ano ang gusto kong birthday gift mula sa kanya. Saying she is content with her life, Dimples chose to write about God instead in order to help give hope to others who are making sacrifices and doing their best for their families.

Julia Montes, Loisa Andalio, Angel Locsin, Bea Alonzo, Sylvia Sanchez, and Toni Gonzaga were just some of the celebrities who congratulated Dimples on her latest achievement.

Angel even took to her Instagram to express how proud she is of her “mars” Dimples.
