“It’s hard to call it a mistake because it gave me a child. But I wouldn’t have married so early. I would’ve enjoyed my single blessedness first for a long time. I would have traveled more,” she said.

According to Sharon said she was supposed to fly to Switzerland in 1986 to finish her studies, but eventually decided to stay in the Philippines to pursue her movie career.
