Cathy Garcia-Molina shared that there have been numerous movie projects that have been offered for her to direct.

In an interview during the livestream of Nickl Entertainment on October 8, the blockbuster director said that she already attended meetings for some of the projects.

"In fact, tatlo na ang dumaan sa akin na puro meeting. Hindi po natutuloy-tuloy," she said.

Direk Cathy revealed, "May KathNiel (Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla), may John Lloyd-Bea (John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo), may Vice Ganda, may LizQuen (Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil), at iyan, dumaan si Alden [Richards], pero hindi pa alam kung sino ang partner. Ang iniisip lang, Bea."

Though she has various project offers, direk Cathy said that she chooses to stay at home at the moment for the safety of her family.

“Marami [akong pelikula], kaso hindi natutuloy sa maraming dahilan. At isa doon, medyo takot ang lola niyo lumabas. You know naman, I have two teens na pinag-aaral. Medyo takot tayo na labas nang labas," she remarked.

“Ako naman, hanggang kayang hindi lumabas, hindi. Katulad nito, kaya naman natin magsaya na nandito lang tayo,” she continued.

Direk Cathy was supposed to work on the movie After Forever starring Daniel and Kathryn prior to the pandemic.

After Forever was supposed to be direk Cathy's next project with KathNiel after the blockbuster hit The Hows of Us.

They were supposed to fly to San Francisco to shoot the film last February. Amid the pandemic, the movie has since been postponed.

In an interview with the media last February, direk Cathy was asked why she said yes again to a KathNiel project.

“I said yes to this dahil doon sa mamang ‘yun (pointing to Daniel) lakas lakas sa akin niyan e,” she said.

On how she plans to transform KathNiel in this movie, she replied, “Pagta-trabahuhan namin yan. Wala naman po ako laging naka set na paraan kung paano e. Normally, as I get the script, the story, the location and the events sa set namin, doon lumalabas ‘yung kung paano.

“So it will come, it will come at hindi po mahirap ‘yun kasi madalas kami mag-away nito. Ito (pointing to Daniel) ang pangalawang John Lloyd ng buhay ko e’, alam na niya po ‘yun kasama po ‘yun sa aming journey,” she stated.
