Wins during the 47th Miss Intercontinental beauty pageant's 26-year-old beauty queen Karen Gallman.

She was the first Filipino to win the Intercontinental title beauty at the Mall of Asia Arena on Saturday night (January 26).

Thank you @mypatrickstarr for my national costume. It’s inpired by the Moryonan also known as the 'MORIONES FESTIVAL'. It is a colorful festival celebrated on the island of Marinduque in the Philippines during the holy week. The "Moriones" are men and women in costumes and masks replicating the garb of biblical Roman soldiers as interpreted by local folks This festival also inspired the creation of other festivals in the Philippines where cultural practices or folk history is turned into street festivals. The Mythical bird 'SARIMANOK' was also added to the whole ensemble making it more dramatic

"For me, success is not just about winning in life but setting goals, achieving smaller goals and your dreams and working hard for everything you want and always looking up to God and being thankful for everything. For me, that is success, "said the candidate.

First runner-up Adriana Alvarado Costa Rica and second runner-up was Laura Longauerova the Slovak Republic.

Among the top six finalists candidates of Colombia, Vietnam, and Ethiopia.
