Judy Ann Santos shared that the concept for her food business Angrydobo stemmed from an argument she had with her husband Ryan Agoncillo.

"Napaka-petty ng napag-awayan namin. Nu’ng araw na 'yon, talagang naka-schedule ako magluto. Eh nag-away kami. So 'yung adobo, niluto ko ng anim na oras," she recalled in an interview with Viy Cortez in her latest YouTube vlog.

"Pag-upo niya, sa table, walang tingin-tingin sa mata, binagsak ko lang 'yung bowl sa harap niya. Tapos nu'ng kumain siya, nu'ng kinain niya, sinabi niya, ‘Ah, Angrydobo.’ Kasi ginawa ko siya nang galit ako," she added.

The actress-entrepreneur remarked that it was a story that she would want to share to her kids.

"It’s nice to tell the story to our kids kasi something good actually came out from that argument," she said.

Judy Ann launched Angrydobo in May 2019. Their first branch was locaated in Taft Avenue Manila then they opened another branch in Alabang in February 2020.

Judy Ann enrolled in a culinary course at the Center for Asian Culinary Studies in San Juan in 2006. She graduated with honors.

In an interview with Sharon Cuneta in October 2020, the actress relayed that her daughter Yohan inspired her to attend culinary school.

"Ang habol ko talaga sa pag-aaral ng culinary is I want to be a good example to Yohan. Si Yohan pa lang ang anak namin noon. I want her to be inspired to finish her studies kasi baka sabihin niya, 'Bakit ako magka-college, ikaw nga hindi?’ Ano isasagot ko? Oo nga naman. May point,” she said.

She relayed that it was Ryan who encouraged her to enroll in culinary school as she loves cooking.

"Nasa crossroads ako noon eh. Pero alam kong in my heart, I want to learn something. I want to go back [to school], I want to study something. Pero si Ry alam na niya na mahilig ako magluto," Judy recounted.
