Vikings Luxury Buffet, who previously pledged to give Carlos a free unlimited buffet for life at Vikings restaurant, has upgraded their reward for Carlos. This time, the restaurant company will be giving Carlos a lifetime free buffet in all Vikings Group Buffet brands.

After his first gold medal, Carlos was already set to receive a ₱10 million cash incentive from the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) as mandated by Republic Act 10699 or the National Athletes and Coaches Benefits and Incentives Act.

The Filipino gymnast will also be receiving the Olympic Gold Medal of Valor from the PSC.

The House of Representatives is also set to give the two-time Olympic champion a ₱3 million cash reward.

"This reward reflects our support for his continued success and our commitment to fostering Filipino talent on the international stage," Representative Elizaldy Co, chairman of the House Committee on Appropriations, remarked in a statement as reported by GMA News.

The Philippine Olympic Committee will also be awarding a house and lot to the Filipino gymnast.

Carlos clinched his first gold medal in the men's artistic gymnastics floor exercise finals on Saturday, August 3.

He achieved a historic double win when he won the gold medal in the vault finals on Sunday, August 4.

"Ang maging safe ako, healthy, walang ma-injury sa amin, ayun lang talaga. Hindi ko inexpect na ganun 'yung kalalabasan ng vault ko so hindi talaga ako makapaniwala kanina," he said in an interview with One Sports following his second gold medal at Paris Olympics.

He went on: "Relaxed lang ako kanina. Parang, ‘Sige, kahit ano na lang. Wala namang mawawala sa'kin.’ All out na po. Ganoon na [ang] feeling ko. Crazy talaga ng experience na 'to, grabe."
