Priscilla Meirelles immediately refuted John Estrada’s statement about their mutual decision to call for a break. In her Instagram Stories, the beauty queen expressed how “shocked and disheartened” she was about the statement.

John previously broke his silence about the status of their relationship through his Instagram Stories last July 16.

“Priscilla and I have mutually agreed to take a break for quite some time now. There’s more to the story but the last thing I want to do is to hurt the people I love,” he wrote.

The celebrity wife then revealed that there was no mutual agreement about their decision to split which was why she was shocked when she found out about John’s statement.

“To clarify, there was never any mutual agreement regarding our separation. We were married when I left the Philippines, and we remain married as of this time,” she shared.

Priscilla maintained that despite not revealing the whole story to the public, “it won’t change the course of faith.”

“While there is indeed more to this story, it is not the appropriate time to delve into those details,” she added.

The beauty queen-actress then expressed her gratitude towards everyone who has been sending her love from all over the world. She is hopeful that time will be the answer to everything that they are going through right now.

“I appreciate your constant support, kindness, and love during this difficult time. I trust that, in due course, all will be resolved appropriately. Thank you for understanding,” she ended.

Prescilla sparked rumors about the status of their relationship through a Facebook Live earlier this week. Despite not dropping John’s name, she mentioned how she had enough of things and will move forward in life.

“I refuse to let it pass anything from this point onwards. I’m very patient, very kind and I'm [a] very forgiving person but [to a] limit,” she previously shared.
