The 7th Entertainment Editorss Choice Awards, known as the EDDYS, has announced its list of nominees for 2024, set to honor the finest talents in Philippine cinema.

 

Organized by the Society of Philippine Entertainment Editors (SPEEd), the EDDYS aim to inspire local filmmakers, producers, writers, and actors to create films that reflect societal realities.

 

The nominees for Best Actress are:

Additionally, this year, the EDDYS will honor industry veterans Eva Darren, Nova Villa, Leo Martinez, Lito Lapid, and Gina Alajar. Additionally, a special tribute will be made to the late Carlo J. Caparas for his invaluable contributions to the Philippine movie industry. The awards ceremony will take place on July 7.

 

The 7th EDDYS promises to be a celebration of the best in Philippine cinema, highlighting the creativity and passion of its filmmakers and actors.
