OPM group BINI, also dubbed as the nation’s girl group, has celebrated their third year in the industry after making their debut in 2021.

At their Happy BINI Day event last Tuesday, June 11, the group met with their fans who have been continuously showing their support and appreciation for the eight-member group.

“Nakaka-overwhelm po talaga. Sobrang salamat po sa pagpunta. Hindi po namin inexpect ito… Grabe talaga. Kinikilabutan kami,” BINI leader Jhoanna expressed.

She added, “Super proud ako sa girls, sa BINI. It all started with a dream pero ngayon unti-unti nangyayari na siya…. Sa mga Blooms na bumiyahe, galing sa malalayo, maraming salamat po. Sa mga pumila, maraming, maraming salamat po… Para sa inyo itong event na ito.”

Consisting of members Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena, the group has been dominating charts and topping trends with their hit songs “Pantropiko”, “Salamin, Salamin”, “Lagi”, and “Karera”.

With such milestones in their career, BINI member Colet shared what they have learned on their journey so far.

“Actually, this has been said paulit-ulit po pero talagang buhay ay di karera po. May mga times dati na nawawalan kami ng confidence, nadidiscourage kami, nadidishearten kami pero your time will come pot alaga and if it’s for you, it will happen,” she told PUSH.

Before the much-awaited meet and greet with fans on their special day, BINI prepared several activities for them to enjoy the day-long celebration.

In the BINI land area, fans were able to try different activities, such as the “I Feel Good” human claw machine, “Karera” racetrack, ball pit and balloon dome, Talaarawan message wall for BINI, the BINI-like photo booths and backdrops, mirror self-design area as well as display of BINI’s iconic costumes from music videos and performances.

They also had dance workshops of their popular singles that the fans took part in.

“Actually sa totoo lang po, every ganitong event na ganito karaming tao, parang bago pa rin po siyaa sa amin so maraming maraming salamat po. Hindi po ito mangyayari ng hindi dahil sa inyo dahil wala naman nagsasucceed magisa lang. Lahat ng ito ay dahil sa inyo Blooms and sa management,” Jhoanna said during the BINI hour activity,

“Magparami pa tayo,” she added.

BINI is now preparing for their upcoming 3-day solo concert from June 28 to June 30 at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City.

They will also have their BINIverse regional tour concert in Camp John Hay Trade and Cultural Center in Baguio City on July 6, Waterfront Hotel and Casino in Cebu City on July 14, and KCC Gensan Open Grounds in General Santos City on July 20.
