Melai Cantiveros is set to host a Bisaya online talk show titled Kuan on One.

ABS-CBN Head of Production Lauren Dyogi joined the production team in revealing the new project to Melai.

"Naka-produce kami ng pinakabagong talk show, ang Kuan on One with Melai. Dream ito ni direk Lauren para sa'yo. It's a refreshing Bisaya talk show," the production staff told Melai as the project was revealed to her as documented in a vlog uploaded on ABS-CBN Entertainment's YouTube channel.

"Ang galing talaga ng ABS mag-ganyan-ganyan noh," Melai exclaimed.

The comedienne then expressed her excitement about her new show saying, "Siyempre Bisaya direk, alam mo naman ang Bisaya sa akin talaga is the best 'yung parang close to my heart talaga hindi na ako mag-effort... Sobra akong happy direk kasi Bisaya," she said.

Direk Lauren replied: "Pangarap ko 'yan para sa'yo. Malakas ang kutob ko diyan."

Fans online were quick to congratulate Melai on her new show.

"Congrats MELAI. SUPER DESERVED!" one fan said.

"Antaba ng utak ng kapamilya.  So proud of you Melai!" another fan wrote.

"Excited nako sa imong kuan talk show Melai. Congrats Melai," another fan commented.

Kuan on One will start streaming on YouTube and iWantTFC this July.

Early this May, Melai also marked a new milestone in her career as she was appointed as  an honorary ambassador of the Korea Tourism Organization for its "Family Fun in Korea" campaign. The Kapamilya star received her official appointment in Korea.

"Kamsahamnidaaa mga Kamsamiii kung di dahil sa inyu di kmi mapipili na maging ambassador and ambasadress ng KTO @ktomanila 🇰🇷🫰this oppurtunity ay para sa inyu mga Kamsamiiii , ipapakita nmin sa inyu ang mga happiness nmin dtu sa Korea , medyu di lang ako naka update dahil nagkaroon ng emergency , and Thank you sa inyung prayers na ok na ang health ng baby steya nmin 🇰🇷❤️," she posted on Instagram following her appointment.
